Reflective Overview
Intellectual Capital reflects your global business savvy, your cosmopolitan outlook, and your cognitive complexity.
Through these courses and countries, my overall intellectual capital increased, but it was interesting to see the decrease in my cognitive complexity. I believe that this occurrence is from distribution of intellectual capacity. I grew significantly in my global business savvy and cosmopolitan outlook through cultural immersion, intellectual conversations with people from other cultures, and exposure to international business and management techniques and markets.
Psychological Capital reflects your passion for diversity, quest for adventure, and your self- assurance
All of my psychological capital categories increased, but I am most interested in the growth in my quest for adventure. I have always been an adventurous person but was held back by planning and logistical barriers. After living in Europe, I have been exposed to many challenges that must be overcome. These feats have lead to greater self-confidence, comfortability in uncomfortable situations, and risk taking.
Social Capital reflects your intercultural empathy, interpersonal impact, and diplomacy
This experience created an amazing opportunity for me to grow socially. I was able to work in global teams who had to preserver through conflicts, network with individuals from other cultures and backgrounds, and integrate diverse perspectives in our group's everyday lives. This program was designed to create great social capital advancement opportunities for the students, and my increase in scores reflects so.

Post Program Traveling
Me and many others from our group will be traveling throughout Europe following the program. I plan on utilizing the newfound skills gained from this program to make my extended time abroad more enriching. The skills that I am looking forward to implementing most is my personal confidence and ability to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations. These are extremely important when traveling in places you have never been before, so it will be interesting to see the results. Places I'm headed to:
As I head back home after traveling, I will have to implement my newfound leadership philosophy into my everyday life. I believe that this will be easy to do as I will have an internship and a year long Senior Design project to practice. I plan on becoming more flexible to change, respectful of others opinions, oriented towards improvement, and adopt a fixed-growth mindset. Individual Meaning of Global Leadership |
